Retirement is the first volume in the series of novels by Mark Daniel Curley that will feature the people, places and things introduced in Retirement.

Subsequent books in the set will not only welcome new people, but may also cause us to bid farewell to familiar faces from time to time. Although the author obviously can’t offer specifics, it is safe to say that not a single character is immune from his literary wiles.

However, rest assured that the endgame has already been written, and the readers are guaranteed a level of closure.

Upon completion of this series, a good ways down the road, there are one or two other books he feels compelled to write.

After that, we shall see.
